During the work, road users must take into account hindrance and extra travel time due to diversions. The delay is determined by the road manager estimated in advance at about half an hour† The work will start on Friday, May 13 at 10 p.m. and will last until 5 a.m. on Monday morning, May 16.

The asphalt at the junction and the entrances and exits will be renewed. This is supplied by the controversial Nijmegen factory APN. Rijkswaterstaat immediately places new bollards to separate traffic at the connection from the IJsseloordweg/N325 towards the A12 (to Westervoort/Duiven). At the same time, the province of Gelderland is working on the A348.

Rijkswaterstaat emphasizes that the A12 will remain open during the work at the Velperbroek junction. Traffic on that highway in the direction of Germany and Utrecht will therefore not be affected by the closure.
