“My birthday has always been very important to me, because it is a reason to gather friends together and spend the summer with my loved ones. But when my daughters were born, their names and birthdays became more important to me, and all our friends get together on them. Their birthdays are in March and April, both name days are in the summer, which means that we have already celebrated a lot by September. There’s no point in getting together anymore, because we’ve already met often,” Audrey and Patricia’s dad says with a smile, admitting that, taking care of his family’s three girls, he has put himself on the fourth level. .
The actor reveals that in the summer he filmed the adaptation of Karina Rachko’s erotic blockbuster “Ecstasy”, directed and co-written by J. J. Gillinger. “There are four main roles in it, and one of them is me,” reveals Rihards Leper, adding that the full-length film will be shown in cinemas in December, while the TV series will also reach the audience of “Go3” in the same month.
Just last summer, he filmed with the Russian director Kirill Serebrennikov, who is making his new film about the head doctor of the Auschwitz concentration camp – the “angel of death” Josef Mengele, who conducted experiments on prisoners during Nazi Germany, and also chose what to send to the gas chambers. Most likely, this film will reach the audience no earlier than next year.
“In parallel with the film works, I have also been involved in the TV project “jauns.tv”, where I create various video stories with the interest of a documentarian – I both direct and participate in some scenes myself, looking for answers to various topical questions. I meet “real people in real professions”, and I like it,” says the theater and cinema actor.
