Speaking about his taste for summer, the actor says that this feeling definitely includes relaxation and being with his family. On March 17, he and his wife, architect Krista Paula Leper, welcomed their second daughter into the world. “My taste of summer is free time, because often artists have to work in the summer, it’s related to managing various outdoor events, concerts or filming projects. I associate the taste of summer with sun, sea, wind and forests. It is our summer scent, our seaside. To stay in tents somewhere in the seaside area… My recreation is surfing and time by the sea,” says the actor.
Knowing how the growth of his family has affected his planning of rest and free time, he admits that he copes with everything perfectly. “Nothing has stopped for us. We manage time very well. We go on various excursions together. The fact that children are small does not stop hobbies. If they are related to being with nature, then that is the place where the child should be. Staying in a suffocating and roaring city on a hot day is not the best for a child, so the closer to nature and fresh air, the better. It increases the joy of being together,” emphasizes the actor. While sipping a sparkling Schweppes cocktail, Leper admits that this is the best drink in the summer – both sitting on the restaurant’s terrace and being in nature with his family. “In the summer, you want to drink something cool, light and refreshing, but nothing too intoxicating. Summer, if it’s successful, is a bit intoxicating. If we talk about the taste of summer and a refreshing drink, then cold Schweppes is a great choice. It can be added to any cocktail – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic,” says the actor.
Rihard has enough to do in the summer. “This summer I will be filming in two film projects. I just released a song that is an anthem for surfers. My song is about sun, sea and wind and summer. There is also that summer taste and freedom. I have sung a song in the album of Raimonda Paulus and Dzeguzīte, which contains songs with lyrics by Guntar Rača. My taste of summer will be parallel to the work I do. And this summer is full of many beautiful projects,” says the actor and asks the bartender to make another refreshing cocktail with the excellent taste of Schweppes.
Bitter Lemon Schweppes and Melon Cocktail
Ingredients
- 25 ml of melon liqueur
- 5 ml of vodka
- Sugar syrup
- Schweppes Bitter Lemon
- Lemon peel
- A thin slice of melon for decoration
Preparation
1. Place the ice cubes in the glass and stir quickly to chill the glass before adding the ingredients.
2. Pour melon liqueur and vodka into the glass in turn.
