Rihanna: committed artist
In a video posted to social media and re-shared thousands of times, the creator of Fenty Beauty can be seen holding up signs and encouraging passers-by to join the protest.. If some passers-by may have been surprised to meet Rihanna, this is not the first time that the artist has affirmed his political opinions.. Very committed, Riri never fails to use her voice, her platform and her influence to raise awareness and mobilize for great causes, at least those that seem right to her..

Pandemic and trivialized racism
These attacks on the Asian American community are rooted in the fact that some believe that Asians are all responsible for the coronavirus. An absurd idea but used as the perfect pretext for racist crimes. The rhetoric of the former President of the States–United, Donald Trump had strongly fueled this “argument” when he mentioned “the Chinese virus” in reference to the coronavirus during his speeches. A situation that has become worrying and dangerous for the Asian community of states–United: the Stop Asian Hate association has collected 3.800 reports between February 2020 and February 2021, which represents an increase of 150%.
