For its first office in the region, the optician Droit de Regard settles in Toulon!
The boutique will open its doors on Friday 9 December 2022 at 179 Place de la Liberté.
Droit De Regard is the first and only optician in France to offer 100% reimbursement for all its eyewear, within the framework of the 100% health law. Since 2020, the brand has been offering free and equal access, for all, to the best in vision health and innovation in optics. Droit De Regard intends to fight against any form of renunciation of vision care.
RIGHT OF VIEW “OUTSIDE THE WALLS”
The first intervention “outside the walls” of Droit de Regard in Toulon took place on November 23, 2022.
In its implementation ambitions, Droit de Regard commits itself to territories with “zero waivers?” for visual health. This is therefore the case in Toulon, where Droit de Regard, even before the opening of the shop, had already organized an operation to prevent vision problems, in collaboration with the Town Hall, at the Maison de l’Étudiant and the Information Youth . That day, the Droit de Regard team of opticians went to the site to test the visual acuity of students and young people for free. Depending on their needs, they were referred to licensed ophthalmologists to get their optical equipment prescription. At the same time, Droit de Regard opticians handed them 250 adult frames for the students to try on. Upon receipt of your prescription, Droit de Regard will start manufacturing the complete equipment (frames and lenses), before making it available in the shop. Students will only have to collect the glasses, without being asked to pay a cent, as everything is 100% covered by the health law.
This social and solidarity action “outside the walls?” corresponds to the desire of the Droit de Regard not to forget anyone, going towards the populations furthest from visual health care, in the establishments that employ or welcome them. As an example, 77% of people tested in ESAT (Establishment and service of help through work) do not have glasses suitable for their eyesight. The problem affects 73% of residents in EHPADs and 75% of those in shelters or shelters. By meeting fragile people, people with disabilities, the elderly, the sick, in integration or in precarious situations, and also bringing them the best of optical innovation, Droit de Regard rejects the non-recourse to care. With the support of the Town Hall of Toulon and social, public or private organizations of the metropolis, the opticians of Droit de Regard Toulon hope to visit all the establishments concerned, in order to gradually eradicate the renunciation of visual health care, territorial scale.
