RIGHT NOW: Nielsen is missing for MFF

Due to the European Games in late summer, a couple of Allsvenskan matches have had to be moved. One of them is AIK against Malmö FF, at Friends Arena, which therefore kicks off on Wednesday night in the form of the team’s second meeting during the season.

Before the match, both teams are on 15 points, where MFF has a better goal difference and therefore holds second place while AIK is third.

MFF has been pulled with many injuries recently, which continues even to this match. What is new is that Lasse Nielsen is also outside the squad. Jo Inge Berget starts on the bench, like Martin Olsson. From the start, Eric Larsson plays on the left back, and Hugo Larsson enters the midfield. The 17-year-old and Matej Chalus, who starts in the middle lock with Dennis Hadzikadunic, make their debut from the start.

Sören Rieks, Anders Christiansen, Isaac Kiese Thelin and Oscar Lewicki are still out of the match squad.

For the first time after a knee injury, Jonas Knudsen is in Malmö’s match squad.

For AIK, Mikael Lustig is still outside the eleven, however, in the squad, and Joe Mendes thus retains his starting place in the right-back position. The entire eleven is thus the same as against Blåvitt. Amar Abdirahman Ahmed is back in the squad after an injury.

Startelvor:

AIK: Nordfeldt – Mendes, Milosevic, Papagiannopoulos, Otieno – Elbouzedi, S. Larsson, Hussein, Stefanelli – J. Larsson, Bahoui

Malmö FF: Dahlin – Beijmo, Chalus, Hadzikadunic, E. Larsson – Peña, Rakip, H. Larsson – Abubakari, Toivonen, Birmancevic
