“Rīgas Ritmi” is a great festival!” the French artist Charles Passi also did not hide his joy at visiting Riga. “Welcoming, elegant, warm and in keeping with the image of this city and its people. I can also tell a small anecdote. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that there was a jam session going on in the lobby bar. We wanted to play one or two songs together with the jammers, but after ten minutes of listening to the jam session band and realizing how good it was, none of us wanted to play anymore. We just listened and enjoyed. I think that says a lot about the quality of this festival.”
