In honor of the past summer (or out of grief for such end of the season), the group “Rīgas Modes” will perform this Saturday, September 12, at the floating culture and art center “Noass”.
The group “Rīgas Modes” is currently working on a new record and will provide an insight into their new material at the concert. So far, this peculiar ensemble has already released three songs from the upcoming pastime: “Wild Horses”, “We Drove All Night” and most recently also the new single “Dance Alone”.
So far, “Rīgas Modes” has released two albums – the EP named after itself, as well as the album “Fantastiski”, which received the Latvian Music Record of the Year Award “Golden Microphone” as the best pop music recording and also the Austra Award, which is presented for the best domestic music recording. critics. The band currently includes Kalvis Bormanis (vocals), Reinis Papulis (guitar), Anete Stuce (keyboards), Andris Apīnis (bass guitar) and Mareks Ameriks (drums).
Culture and Art Center “Noass” is anchored at the AB dam, opposite the hotel “Radisson Blu Daugava”. The price of tickets in advance is five euros, but at the entrance they will cost 7 euros. The number of seats in the concert is limited. Before the concert, the radio personality Maija Rozīte will perform with a DJ set. “Summer always ends too quickly, so we wanted to extend these feelings a bit and provide another evening to spend with our friends and beautiful strangers,” the band members invite to the concert.
