“Riga Welcomes the Long-Awaited Return of Three Days Grace in June”

With a concert on June 13 in the “Palladium” hall, the much-awaited Canadian rock band Three Days Grace returns to Latvia. And ‘expected’ is not an empty epithet, because the two previous Riga concerts were completely sold out. Since the volume of the “Palladium” hall is quite limited, it is also worth hurrying to buy tickets this time.

The Canadian rockers will visit us as part of the “Revolutions Live Tour” tour, which is subordinated to the release of the latest album “Explosions”. This means that the concert will include time-tested compositions such as I Hate Everything About You, Never Too Late, Animal I Have Become, Pain, Just Like You, Home, Painkiller, Riot, The Mountain, and the highlights of the new collection. hits – So Called Life, Lifetime, etc

Tickets throughout the “Ticket Service” (www.bilesuserviss.lv) in the network from:

Wednesday, March 29 – exclusively for Izklaides posta subscribers only;

Friday, March 31 – on public sale.

Three Days Grace’s newest, now seventh, album was released on May 6, 2022, breaking for the first time the band’s tradition of releasing a new collection of records every third year. However, since in November 2021, the first herald of the album – the single So Called Life – experienced a public premiere, to some extent it can be considered that pleasing the fans with a new record at the 3-year mark is still preserved. The song instantly topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart and stayed there for 4 consecutive weeks. It was also the most played rock song of 2022. The single Lifetime, released in April 2022, repeated the result of So Called Life, thus the group has 17 singles that reached the top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

When asked about the message behind Explosions, band member Neil Sanderson explains his vision: “We’re born into a world of explosions, and they’re always around. We tend to bottle up our anger and act like it’s not there. Sometimes you just want to express yourself and to be creative. You try to be who you are, but the world won’t let you. And then what do you do – explode? It’s not always the right solution. Maybe you manage to smooth out the edges somehow? We all do to some extent, because the other option is to explode. Not all explosions are bad; some are beautiful. When you’re a father, your child goes out into the world and becomes a person. In my view, that’s also an explosion.”

Three Days Grace’s three albums have received official 3x 2x and 1x Platinum status, they have been nominated 12 times for the highest award of the Canadian music industry, the Juno, Spotify statistics inform that their songs are played an average of 4 million times a month, which makes them one of the most listened to rock bands in the world.

Three Days Grace was founded in 1997 in Norwood, Ontario by lead singer and guitarist Adam Gauntier, drummer and backing vocalist Neil Sanderson and bassist Brad Walst. In 2003, Barry Stock joined them and became the lead guitarist. In 2013, Adam left the band, and therefore bassist Brad invited his brother Matt Wolst, who surprisingly quickly and well integrated into the group, instead of the soloist.

Music critics use slightly different musical styles to describe the band’s genre – alternative hard rock, post-grunge, nu metal – which is also understandable, because Three Days Grace’s creative material is not homogeneous.
