Nünchritz. The municipality of Nünchritz has now honored ten people who are particularly committed to the community and coexistence in the countryside.
Mayor Andrea Beger (independent) thanked Kevin Deul, who as chairman brought a breath of fresh air to the Weißiger Turnverein 1998, as well as Martin Rettig, who has been managing the Nünchritzer children’s and youth club “Kombi” of the Volkssolidarität Riesa-Großenhain for many years.
A certificate of honor was also given to long-standing local councilor Birgitt Köhler, who also leads an apparatus gymnastics group, and Heike Krebs-Leeder, the instructor of the pop gymnastics group of SV Chemie Nünchritz. A big thank you also went to the former head of the main office, Ute Keil, for her great voluntary commitment to the village museum.
The Nünchritz community’s certificate of honor was also awarded to five people celebrating their blood donation anniversary. Frank Tschichholz and Uwe Richter have already donated blood 150 times. Volker Keil had his veins punctured 125 times so that the precious liquid can be made available to other people during operations and emergencies. Uwe Förster and Mathias Sommerfeld have now donated blood 100 times. (SZ/jö)
