SV Ried suffered a bitter defeat in the fight for promotion to the Bundesliga on Friday. The Innviertler had to admit defeat 1-3 in their own stadium Blau-Weiß Linz in the 25th round and would thus lose the lead to Austria Klagenfurt on Sunday if the two points behind Carinthia won at Vorwärts Steyr.
Slapstick insert
