The Volvo XC90 is powered by a 1,969 cc T8 AWD Plug-in hybrid four-cylinder engine. The machine is connected to an electric motor with a maximum power of 145 horsepower. This car has a maximum power of 462 horsepower at 6,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 709 Nm at 3,000-4,800 rpm. Power from the engine is channeled through an 8-speed transmission.
Thanks to the 18.8 kWh battery, Volvo claims its electric motor can take the car as far as 68 km when the battery is fully charged. The maximum speed of the car can reach 289.6 km/hour. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h can be reached in just 5.3 seconds. Don’t be surprised, this car has a tank capacity of 76 liters.
