Ridwan Kamil cannot accept the death of his child mentioned in X

Candidate for governor of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamilresponding to netizens who mentioned the death of his son, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz or Eril, on social media. Ridwan Kamil called this an unacceptable hate speech.

The statement of Ridwan Kamil was expressed through a post on Instagram @ridwankamil, seen by detikcom, on Monday (30/9/2024). Ridwan Kamil also included a screenshot of a netizen’s tweet that touched on his son’s death.

“It is hate that we can never tolerate. May Allah provide sufficient sustenance and guidance to the person involved,” said Ridwan Kamil.

Recently, this netizen apologized for promoting the name of Ridwan Kamil’s late son. He also promised that he would be smarter in using social media.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Winning Team (RIDO), Ahmad Riza Patria, also commented on his personal social media account. He regretted that netizens offended the late son of Ridwan Kamil.

“We wish patience for Bang @ridwankamil and his extended family. As a father, I have also been deeply saddened by the loss of my son,” said Riza Patria through his official X account, @ArizaPatria.

He also hopes that netizens will stop spreading profanity or profanity. According to him, it is better to express programs and solutions.
