Damian Lillard is often referred to as one of the leaders of the NBA. He sometimes talks like he’s LeBron James. LeBron is obviously the face of this league, and he got it right. And I asked myself directly with you: “What could Damian Lillard have done to achieve such status in this league?” Because, seriously, he didn’t win anything!
Obviously, he’s a very good player. His best ranking in MVP votes was 4th in 2018. Not bad. Not great either. So what did he win? LeBron won 3 rings, with 3 Finals MVPs. Kevin Durant won two rings with 2 Finals MVPs. The last time I checked… I don’t know what Damian Lillard won!
