The number of corona patients in Dutch hospitals has fallen for the third day in a row. A total of 649 infected people are now occupying a bed, according to the latest figures from the National Coordination Center for Patients Spreading (LCPS). That is seven less than 24 hours earlier.

There are 439 people in the nursing wards with Covid-19, the disease caused by the corona virus. That’s a drop of seven from a day ago. 56 corona patients were newly admitted to the nursing wards.
The intensive care units currently care for 210 seriously ill corona patients, the same number as on Wednesday. There were 19 new admissions to the ICUs, but an equal number of people left the ward or died, so the number of patients admitted remained the same.
