Ricky Tognazzi’s awakening was not pleasant at all. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. Here’s what happened to the actor
Ricky Tognazzi is the son of the great Ugoan actor who made the history of Italian cinema in the second half of the twentieth century.
The apple never falls too far from the tree and in fact Ricky too has followed in his father’s footsteps, trying his hand not alone as an actor but also as a directorscreenwriter and producer.
The boy has three brothers who the father was from two different marriages: Thomas Robsahm, Gianmarco and Maria Sole Tognazzi. All four are very close.
Right from the start, Ricky was in contact with film sets and then studied not only at DAMS but also the State Institute for Cinematography and Television “Roberto Rossellini” From Rome. Now comes very bad news for the man. He didn’t make it…
Ricky Tognazzi has had a dramatic awakening
The Mediaset drama directed by Ricky Tognazzi scored a very low share score in comparison to Blanca’s reply in Rai. In fact, the actor’s awakening wasn’t exactly easy.
According to Gossip TV magazine, The Good Pope by Ricky Tognazzi with Simona Izzo was seen by 1,677,000 viewers reaching a peak of 11.2% share while Blanca had a share of 14.5% with about 2,396,000 spectators.
The memory of his father Ugo
Ricky Tognazzi wanted to remember his father Ugo on the occasion of the release of the documentary about him. The actor said: “I’ve never laughed at anyone like him, not even my friends from school. For me, until the end, he was a wonderful playmate. We often looked at him severely, especially me who was the oldest, even if Gianmarco is the one who has had the most conflicting relationship, while Maria Sole has always been very serious, calm. Dad was animated by what we children have defined as a healthy ‘selfishness’, the idea that if he was happy, the others were automatically happy. Let’s just say that things didn’t always go like this.”
In addition, he told some very interesting anecdotes about him: “Dad had even devised a prize. Since the Davis Cup is a salad bowl, every year he had the Golden Colander made by a jeweler from Torvajanica. It was highly coveted, even if usually the usual three won it: Vittorio Gassman, Carlo Ninchi and Franco Interlenghi. Finally, he recalled that Ugo Tognazzi’s last years were characterized by depression: “He found refuge in France, where he worked on prestigious theater productions. Upon returning, she commented bitterly: ‘They really love me there’. In Italy they only offered him parts as a grandfather, a role he didn’t really like, let alone on the set.”
