The recent Louis Vuitton fashion show served as a tribute to Virgil Abloh and celebrities like Ricky Martin showed respect.
Virgil Abloh, who was the fashion designer of the Off-White brand and creative director of the Louis Vuitton men’s line, died on November 28 due to complications from heart angiosarcoma, a rare cancer that had affected him in silence a few years ago. To honor his legacy, LV held a tribute to its first African-American artistic director, and celebrities such as Ricky Martin were in attendance.
The Puerto Rican was not alone at the event to venerate the life of Abloh, who was also a DJ and music producer. Both Ricky and other celebrities of the stature of Kim Kardashian y Kanye West they met in Miami to say goodbye to this fashion genius.
Along with him were her husband, the painter Jwan Yosef and Rauw Alejandro aboard a boat, who in the distance managed to appreciate the installation of a hot air balloon and a sculpture of Virgil, which they took photographs to capture the moment and enhance the designer and his talent.
Others present at the event were Maluma, DJ Khaled and Luka Sabbat, Joe Jonas, Kid Cudi and Offset.
