Rick tells the magazine that people often think that he had a wheelbarrow thanks to his father, but the reality is different. “I rather feel like I was 2-0 behind as the ‘son of’,” he explains. “I was actually looked at extra critically.” His father never coached him. Despite not waiting for help from his father, their bond is very strong – just like with the rest of his family. For example, Rick states that brother Bob is one of his best friends.
