Richmond Laboratory Approved to Produce Convidecia Vaccine at Pilar Plant

The laboratory received the approval to produce the immunizer Convidecia, from CanSino Biologics, at the Pilar plant.

The Richmond laboratory received certification to produce a coronavirus vaccine at its Pilar plant.

The company received approval from ANMAT to produce the Convidecia immunizer, developed by CanSino Biologics.

The drug will begin to be produced in Pilar this year, in a new plant that the company built for the production of vaccines, within the framework of the VIDA program.

“We are proud to have obtained ANMAT certification for the Convidecia vaccine against Covid-19 from CanSino Biologics, a milestone in our mission to contribute to health. A great achievement of teamwork,” they highlighted from Richmond.

“The VIDA project, which will be inaugurated this year, will become the most advanced biotechnology plant in the region, allowing the full production of vaccines and biotechnological products. “We continue to move forward to provide innovative solutions,” they added.
