The Boston Celts extended their relationship with guard Josh Richardson for a year after he joined the team this summer.
As reported by journalist Shams Charania of The Athletic, the deal was for $ 12.4 million for 2022-23.

Notably, Richardson exercised his player option before they were traded to Boston from the Dallas Mavericks.
The 27-year-old guard averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and one steal in just over 30 minutes per game in 2020-21.
