Richard Tessier to be the next president of the Broad Front of Florida

This Saturday the fourth intermission of the Departmental Plenary of the Broad Front (FA) Florida was raised, a session where the sole candidacy for the presidency of this political party was defined – at the local level – for the internal elections on December 5. Thus, the only candidate will be Dr. Richard Tessier, former director of Florida Hospital.

According to the Florida radio station CW33After the appointment by those present, Tessier arrived at the headquarters of the Frente Amplio. In that instance, he addressed the referents of the different groups, among which were Congressman Carlos Rodríguez Gálvez, and Senator Amanda Della Ventura.

“The Broad Front needs the effort and commitment of all (…) there is a settlement of the Frente Amplio, there is a need for the FA to develop and grow,” he said. In addition, he added that in the next elections it is necessary to “achieve a large Frente Amplio vote and that many people come closer.”

“We have to set ourselves important challenges, we are starting to come back,” stressed Tessier.
