Again police trouble for NFL icon
Richard Sherman finds himself in trouble with the law again. The former Seattle star attracts negative attention during a traffic stop. It wasn’t his first trouble with the police.
More trouble for Richard Sherman! The former NFL star was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, according to ESPN, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A police statement said that during a traffic stop, law enforcement officers noticed the “odor of intoxicants” and that Sherman’s eyes were “bloodshot and watery.”

The King County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement that Sherman was due in court on Monday.

Back in 2022, Sherman pleaded guilty to two charges, once for drunk driving and another for domestic disturbance the year before. He also admitted a criminal offense for speeding in a construction site.

Sherman, a three-time All-Pro cornerback, played a total of eleven years in the NFL and played a large role in the Seattle Seahawks winning the Super Bowl in the 2013 season.
He was one of the outstanding defenders of his generation and was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 2010s All-Decade Team in 2020.
Sherman spent seven seasons in Seattle before heading to San Francisco for three. He also played for Tampa Bay and at Stanford during his college years. Most recently he worked as a football analyst.
