TIME.CO, Jakarta – Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu said Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi had a special room for storing firearms at their private residence at Jalan Saguling 3, South Jakarta.
This was known to Richard alias Bharada E when he just arrived at Saguling house from Magelang on 8th July 2022. At that time a two car group consisting of Richard, Ricky Rizal, Strong Ma’ruf, Putri Candrawathi, Yosua and Susi had just arrived from Ferdy Sambo’s house in Magelang.
Then Richard carried the weapon to the third floor following Fort Ma’ruf. Having reached the third floor via the stairs, Richard saw the princess and asked where to put the gun.
“‘Oh, put him on deck, come in,’ said Mrs. Putri. I followed Mum to Her Majesty’s room. Mum took me to a room where there was a bed, a TV and a wardrobe,” said Richard when testifying at the trial of defendants Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma’ruf in the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Richard was shocked when Princess Candrawathi open the weapon cabinet. “Mom opened the closet. I see ‘with all weapons’. There is an arsenal of valuable money. Mom immediately said to keep it there. In the end I kept the gun there,” said Richard.
Richard said he had never seen Princess Candrawathi use a firearm when asked by the judge.
After putting away the weapon, Richard went down to the second floor to eat directly in the kitchen. He didn’t even see Ferdy Sambo when he first arrived, but he did see the car and motorcycle of his bodyguards who had been there since Magelang’s entourage arrived.
Richard Eliezer became Yosua’s executor on the orders of Ferdy Sambo. Yosua’s execution took place at Sambo’s official residence at the Duren Tiga Police Compound on 8 July 2022 between 17.11 and 17.16 WIB.
In the indictment read by the prosecutor on Oct. 17, Richard fired his Glock-17 pistol 3-4 times at the front of Joshua, who was half on his knees as he raised his hand. Joshua fell on his face after being hit.
Still alive and groaning, Richard in his testimony said that Ferdy Sambo, wearing gloves, approached Joshua’s body and shot him in the back of the head with a pistol. Pull the trigger to make sure Joshua is dead.
Subsequently, former Propam Division Chief Polri fired Yosua’s HS pistol with serial number H233001 several times into the wall above the stairs. Ferdy Sambo then placed the gun in his left hand Brigadier Joshua who are dead. This was done by Sambo to support the scenario he had prepared that Joshua died in a shootout with Richard Eliezer.
