All the foods we eat are full of chemicals, without realizing that we are ingesting a lot of chemicals, which can cause health problems.

Rice is one of the foods that many are keen to eat on a daily basis, but a recent study has indicated that not cooking it properly can give you cancer.

According to a recent study by Queen’s University Belfast in England, the chemical from industrial toxins and pesticides in the soil can make rice dangerous, and may lead to arsenic poisoning in many cases.

In another study, women who participated in a California study that began in the mid-1990s to identify potential risk factors for breast and other cancers. A total of 9,400 participants developed cancer during follow-up, with the highest incidence of breast cancer and lung cancer.

Arsenic damage:

It is a chemical found in different minerals, where it is used to make industrial insecticides and pesticides, and there are some countries that have a high level of arsenic in their groundwater, but if we are exposed to the chemical for a long time through food or water, it may lead to arsenic poisoning .

One can suffer from vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and even cancer.

According to the study, rice contains a high level of arsenic and thus, if it is not cooked properly, it may lead to health problems in the future.

What is the correct way to cook rice?

The best way to get rid of arsenic from rice is to soak it overnight in water before cooking, and in the process, the level of toxins is reduced by 80%.
