Since the coronavirus pandemic reached Peru, thousands of people have been infected, including some familiar faces from the world of national entertainment. Recently, journalists Federico Salazar and Erick Osores overcame the virus.
Regarding the recent infections, in the following note we will review the celebrities, both from cinema, television and music, who have overcome the virus. Magaly Medina, Diego Dibós, Anna Carina Copello, among others, have been victorious in their fight against COVID-19.
Federico Salazar and Katia Condos
The América Noticias journalist and the actress contracted the virus at the end of May of this year. The first to confirm it was the TV host, who due to complications was admitted to a hospital; however, he overcame the virus without major problems. For her part, the actress said she had symptoms, but had no complications.
Erick haters
After 14 days of illness, and 9 hospitalized in the Pan American Village, the sports journalist was discharged after beating COVID-19. Through his social networks, the TV host was very grateful to the health personnel for the attention and care they gave him.
Magaly medina
Through her program “Magaly TV, la firma”, the show host revealed that she was infected with COVID-19 and chose to do her work from home; however, on medical advice he had to rest for a couple of weeks.
Diego Dibós
The singer, songwriter and music producer fought a tough battle against the coronavirus. According to an interview with El Comercio, he was transferred to ICU when 60% of his lungs were compromised. After an arduous fight, on April 27 he returned home to applause.
Pold Gastelo
The national actor, who has participated in dozens of TV productions, was admitted to the ICU after fainting as a result of COVID-19. After weeks of intense fighting, the artist managed to leave the clinic and used his social networks to thank the incessant support.

The singer and the television presenter confirmed at the beginning of April of this year that they were infected with COVID-19. After being isolated at home, the famous people overcame the disease without major problems. Last month, both traveled to the United States to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Nicole Pillman
Through her social networks, the singer said that she, her husband and son had been infected. On May 1, he said, he began to have symptoms such as headache, body aches and fever. As the weeks passed, he announced that they all recovered.
Ana Carina Copello
Through her Facebook, the singer announced that she was isolated at home after catching COVID-19. According to her, the news took her by surprise because she is a lover of cleaning and did not leave her house to avoid contagion. After a couple of weeks, she came out of the disease well.
Manolo Rojas
The member of “Los Chistosos” surprised everyone in September 2020 by revealing that he had been infected with coronavirus. Unfortunately, his brother Carlos Rojas could not overcome the disease; however, he did manage to recover from the virus.
Marisol
In an interview for “Magaly TV, la firma”, the cumbia singer, recognized for the success of “La Escobita”, revealed that she, her son and her father were infected with coronavirus. She had symptoms such as general pain in the body, but did not need to be admitted to any hospital.
Katy Jara
In an interview with the newspaper La Karibeña, the singer confirmed that she and her husband were infected. As he said, with the treatment of the doctors he managed to recover soon, like his partner.
María Victoria Santa “La Pánfila”
The comic actress went through a difficult time confessing that her parents had been infected with COVID-19, a day later, she pointed out that she and her children had also been infected. After receiving various expressions of support, the popular ‘Pánfila’ confirmed that everyone had overcome the disease, although they were in debt due to the expenses they had due to the virus.
Jimmy Santi
