Vanity is not on her agenda! Green Party leader Ricarda Lang (30) shows her sense of humor and surprises her followers on Instagram with a very special snapshot. It was taken before her wedding on August 17 in Berlin.

For her big day, Ricarda Lang chose a simple floor-length dress. Her groom, mathematician Florian Wilsch (31), wore a tasteful dark red suit with a tie.
Her new Instagram photo is well received. Most of her 62,000 followers are delighted to see Ricarda Lang with curlers. They comment: “Very nice and natural photo, you will keep these memories forever.” Or: “Wonderful… and probably as excited as a pan of worms, like every bride.”

Wedding was a party marathon
The Green Party leader turned her summer wedding into a party marathon. The lovers’ party started at 3 p.m. in Berlin’s “Oberhafenkantine”. The music played until 2:30 a.m. It was not until around 3:30 a.m. that morning that the newlywed couple sat in a Berlin taxi to head home.
