Ribka Tjiptaning PDIP regarding Jokowi’s speech: I was just laughing

Chairman of the PDIP DPP Rebekah Tjiptaning highlighting President Joko Widodo’s state of the nation address (Jokowi) at the 2024 MPR/DPR/DPD Annual Session.

“I was just laughing when Mr. Jokowi talk” said Ribka at the MPR/DPR building, Jakarta, Friday (16/8/2024) Ribka answered journalists’ questions about Jokowi’s state speech.

According to Rebekah, Jokowi is to blame for Indonesia’s chaotic conditions. “Pak Jokowi created waves,” he said.

“So things get messy like this, Pak Jokowi created the wave, we can’t overcome the wave, he created the wave,” he said.

PDIP, he said, would not remind Jokowi of his statements. Jokowi, Rebekah said, no need to remember him anymore.

“No need, no need to remind him. He is old enough, mature enough, understanding enough, especially as a party group, he knows which rules should not be broken. Why do you remember?“It’s like I’m a party group, I know myself, I can’t do this, I can’t do that,” Rebekah said.

“Later at the conference (we will be reminded),” he concluded.
