Rian Ernest says goodbye via WA Group when PSI takes political party serial numbers

Indonesian Solidarity Party spokesperson (psi extension) Sigit Widodo revealed Rian Ernest announced his resignation as PSI cadre through the group Whatsapp Wednesday (14/12) evening.

Sigit said the news was broken by Rian when PSI representatives were participating in the drawing of serial numbers of political parties participating in the 2024 election at the KPU.

“Last night, as we were participating in the determination and drawing of party serial numbers at the KPU, Rian sent a message to all WhatsApp groups and stated that he was stepping down from the PSI,” Sigit said. CNNIndonesia.comThursday (15/11).

However, Sigit didn’t know exactly why Rian had decided to resign from the PSI. PSI, she said, appreciated her decision.

“We appreciate his decision,” he said.

Rian Ernest had previously announced his resignation as PSI cadre. He said his decision to withdraw from the PSI was correct for his future political steps.

“Through this video, I declare my resignation from the PSI. Even though it is difficult, I believe this is the right decision for my future political steps,” Rian said in a video uploaded to Rian Ernest’s Facebook account on Thursday (15 /12).

PSI is officially listed as a participant in the 2024 election. PSI received serial number 15 in the drawing at the KPU, Wednesday (14/12) evening.
