The designer Riad Sattouf and the actor Vincent Lacoste will be in Bordeaux on November 28 to present the new graphic novel “Le Jeune Acteur”
They had met on the set of “Beaux Gosses”. Riad Sattouf, comic book author, then made his first film in 2008 and chose Vincent Lacoste, then a beginner actor for his first role. Since then, success has continued. Riad Sattouf has released several series of outstanding albums, “Pascal Brutal,” the Dreamed Life of Young People “,” Les Cahiers d’Esther “,” The Arab of the Future “(2.5 million copies sold), won several prizes including two Fauve d’or at the Angoulême festival. Vincent Lacoste is currently playing “Lost Illusions”, an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Honoré de Balzac.
“The young actor – volume 1 Adventures of Vincent Lacoste in the cinema”, released on November 4, tells “the true story of an anonymous teenager who became one of the most talented actors of his generation”. A meeting and a signing session with Riad Sattouf and Vincent Lacoste will take place in Bordeaux (Mollat bookstore and Fémina theater) on Sunday, November 28 for the book’s release.
