There are several posts on social media showing the content of the divorce lawsuit between Ria Ricis and her husband. Reasons for divorce and household problems are now becoming the talk of the town.
The High Court opened its voice about this news. The Supreme Court ensures that in the Supreme Court case management information system, the identity of the parties involved in a divorce case will be hidden.
“In principle, in the case management information system, the names of parties in a divorce case are anonymous or hidden,” said Supreme Court spokesman Suharto, when contacted, on Monday (6 /5/2024).
Suharto said that a similar policy also applies to the directory of decisions at the Supreme Court. In divorce cases, Suharto said, the names of the plaintiff and the children will be withheld.
“In the directory of decisions, it does not really reveal the identity of the party to the divorce. The names of the plaintiff, the defendant and the children have been anonymized,” said e.
Suharto said the Supreme Court aims to protect the privacy of the parties involved in divorce proceedings. He explained that witnesses, even marriage certificate numbers, would be hidden in the decision of the religious court.
“Including witnesses, the number of the marriage certificate has been properly concealed by the Religious Court,” he said.
He said the High Court did not know for sure that Ria Ricis’ divorce decree documents could now be circulated to the public.
“We don’t know where the distribution is coming from,” Suharto said.
