Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Indonesia is included in the list of countries that have recovered economically from the COVID-19 pandemic. Now Indonesia is on par with the United States (US), Singapore and South Korea and China.

This recovery is considered to have reached pre-pandemic levels, as measured by the real gross domestic product (GDP) index.
Indonesia successfully ended the recession in the second quarter of 2021 with an achievement of above 7%. Meanwhile, the realization of Indonesia’s economic growth in 2021 is 3.69%.

Meanwhile, countries with conditions that have not yet recovered or have not returned to their pre-pandemic situation include the Philippines, Mexico, the UK, Malaysia, Italy, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and France.
“Many of these countries are also still below pre-pandemic levels. So we are quite lucky, with the government’s rapid policy response and still keeping us away from such a deep recession,” he explained.
