President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that the world is going through a very serious crisis. Jokowi calls on all elements to unite and unite so that Indonesia can deal with the crisis.
“The world situation is currently facing a very difficult, very difficult challenge. After the COVID-19 pandemic has subsided, the world is currently suffering from a food crisis, an energy crisis and a financial crisis. Even the Russian war- Ukraine has exacerbated the situation, “Jokowi said in his speech at TNI’s 77th anniversary ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/20/2022).
Jokowi added that the current world economic situation is fraught with uncertainty. Faced with this, Jokowi he said Indonesia must be vigilant. Jokowi also asked all sides to be united.

“The world economic situation is filled with uncertainty and global geopolitics is getting hotter. In dealing with this situation, we Indonesians must continue to be alert and vigilant. Strengthen national unity and integrity, strengthen peace and cooperation mutual, to work side by side, to be united so that Indonesia can face this very serious world crisis “, said Jokowi.
Furthermore, Jokowi said that the TNI has always been at the forefront of addressing every challenge faced by the Indonesian nation. This, Jokowi said, has been proven by history.
“As has been shown by the history of Indonesia’s voyage, TNI has always been on guard against any existing challenge, especially in addressing the various crises we face,” he explained.
Jokowi also wished TNI a happy birthday.
“On behalf of the people of the nation and the state, I wish you a happy 77th birthday to the Indonesian National Army wherever you are and serve,” said Jokowi.
