RI Corona Update August 1st: 30,738 Positive Cases Increase, 1,604 People Died

With this addition, the Covid-19 Handling Task Force recorded a total of positive cases to date, reaching 3,440,396 cases.

Central Java is the province with the highest daily contributor of Covid-19 cases today, which is 4,234 people.

For recovered cases, the Task Force recorded an addition of 39,446 people, bringing the total to 2,809,538 people who recovered from Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 increased by 1,604 people today, bringing the total to 95,723 people.

At the same time, the Covid-19 Handling Task Force also noted that the number of active cases per day decreased by 10,312, bringing the total to 535,135 cases.

In addition, the Covid-19 Handling Task Force also recorded 280,518 suspected cases today. This figure is higher than the previous day, which was 278,618 suspected cases.

At the same time, the daily number of Covid-19-related specimens examined today reached 178,375, bringing the total to 26,458,578 specimens that have been examined. The number of specimens examined today is lower than the previous day, namely 241,761 specimens.

Meanwhile, the number of people who have been injected with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine until Sunday (1/8) has reached 47,478,168, while 20,673,079 people have been injected with the second dose of vaccine.

Previously, on Saturday (31/7) the Covid-19 Handling Task Force reported that the addition of positive confirmed cases reached 37,409,658 people, bringing the total to 3,409,658 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases increased by 39,372 people bringing the total to 2,770,092 people, while the number of deceased cases increased by 1,808 people, bringing the total to 94,119 people.
