The number of cases of the Corona COVID-19 virus increased by 63,956 cases on Thursday (17/2/2022), bringing the total to 5,030,002. Patients recovered increased by 39,072, died 206.
Previously, on Wednesday (16/2/2022), a total of 4,966,046 positive cases of the Corona COVID-19 virus were recorded. The total recovered were 4,375,234 cases and 145,622 cases died.
The following are the details of the development of the Corona case in Indonesia today:
- New cases added 63,956, total cases to 5,030,002
- Recovered cases added 39,072, total recovered to 4,414,306
- Death cases added 206, total death to 145,828
The World Health Organization (WHO) has again highlighted the increase in COVID-19 cases in Indonesia after the Omicron outbreak. The reason is, in the period 7 to 13 February, all provinces recorded an increase in the number of cases compared to last week.
The provinces of Bali, DKI Jakarta, and Banten in particular are said to have a high level of risk of transmission.
“Three provinces are at the level of community or community transmission level 4, meaning very high risk, during monitoring from 7 to 13 February 2022,” said WHO in its latest report on Wednesday (16/2/2022).
