United Nations (PBB) produced the latest resolutions in the year-long moment of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The United Nations urged Russia to immediately leave Russia. Indonesia is one of 141 countries that agree with the resolution. China abstained.
Quoted from the official Twitter account for UN news, @UN_News_Centre, Friday (24/2/2023), this resolution was supported by 141 UN countries with 32 countries abstaining and seven countries, including Russia, rejecting it. Indonesia is one of the countries that agreed that Russia would leave Ukraine.
There were 32 countries that abstained from approving the draft resolution, namely China, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burundi, Central Africa, Congo, Cuba, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea Bissau, India, Iran, Kazahkstan, Kyrgyztan, Laos, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tajikistan, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
There were 7 countries which firmly rejected the resolution in favor of Ukraine, namely Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Eritrea, Mali, Nicaragua and Syria.
Indonesia and 140 other countries approved the resolution, along with the United States (US), Afghanistan, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Turkey, and Timor Leste.
The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution that demands #Russia leave #Ukraine.

This UN resolution calls for peace as soon as possible. This resolution reaffirms support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, rejecting Russia’s claims to the occupied parts of Ukraine.
Earlier in September last year, lawmakers in Moscow voted to illegally annex four Ukrainian territories.
In addition, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky also appreciated this resolution. He said this resolution was a testament to global solidarity.
