The prefect of Rhône took a strong decision to “support traders” of the department.
“Considering the drop in business turnover caused by the latest social events, and in accordance with the wish expressed by the My Presqu’île association”, a prefectural decree was issued. The latter authorizes businesses in the Rhône to open exceptionally on Sunday, December 24. An obviously fateful day in the rush before Christmas.
The prefecture specifies that “the provisions relating to conventional compensation, and in the absence of an agreement, the legal guarantees for employees must be respected: voluntary participation of employees, remuneration at least equal to double, compensatory rest…”
