Rhône pharmacists will be able to vaccinate from next week

In the Rhône, it will be possible to be vaccinated against the coronavirus in 506 pharmacies from next week, announces the Regional Health Agency.

As Jean Castex and Olivier Véran announced, it will soon be possible to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in pharmacies. In the Rhône, city pharmacists already trained in influenza vaccination will be authorized to administer the AstraZeneca vaccine from due this Monday, announces the ARS du Rhône in a press release.

In total, 10,000 doses are expected in 506 pharmacies, specifies the ARS.

“People eligible for vaccination will then be able to contact their pharmacist to find out if he has ordered doses, and, if applicable, learn about his way of organizing the appointment”, further details the ARS.
