Two accidents which occurred this Monday morning cause slowdowns on the A47 at the level of the bridge of Givors and Saint-Chamond.
This Monday, February 14 at 7:50 a.m., the firefighters intervened in an accident involving two cars south of Lyon, near the Givors bridge, in the Saint-Étienne-Lyon direction. A collision which causes several kilometers of traffic jams, the A47 even had to be cut in both directions. It has now reopened to traffic.
One of the 31-year-old drivers was slightly injured and taken to hospital.
Other slowdowns near Saint-Chamond
A second accident occurred on the A47 at Saint-Chamond towards Saint-Étienne.
Shortly before 8 a.m., three cars collided. A motorist was slightly injured and taken care of by the emergency services. Traffic is only possible on one lane, which causes major slowdowns there too in the sector.
At 8:45 a.m.the cork went up on several kilometers to La Grand-Croix.
