Rhône: company fined 15,000 euros for “false commercial practice”

The Les Trois Chênes company was fined 15,000 euros for “false commercial practice”, the Rhône prefecture said on Monday, November 4. In particular, he presented hair color as natural, without respecting the rules on this subject.

15,000 euros for “false commercial practice”: this is the amount of the administrative fine imposed, this Monday, November 4, on the company Les Trois Chênes, based in Villechenève, in the Rhône.

According to the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF), the company “did not respond fully and within the specified time to an administrative order to stop the fraudulent commercial practice”, it is written.

In fact, the company Les Trois Chênes continued to present hair color as natural (Colour and Soin naturally). However, “the percentage of ingredients of natural origin did not meet the criteria for such certification”, said the DGCCRF.

In addition, he continued to market a cosmetic product (massage spray Myocalm) “with claims that mislead the consumer about the action of this product on the muscles”.
