Rhone. At the Pierre Garraud hospital, residents will draw from their window

During the first confinement, the Parisian artist Gabrielle Thierry launched the #dessinetafenetre initiative, which met with an echo around the world, with more than 300 drawings produced by designers from 24 countries. Building on this success, the artist joined forces with the Hôp Les Voilà endowment fund, which organizes well-being workshops in hospitals.

The objective: to invite yourself to 10 hospitals through four artistic workshops in immersion with patients, their relatives and caregivers, to share your inspiration and draw or paint the view from your hospital room, an artistic break for all those who cannot move. At the end of the four workshops, a traveling exhibition bringing together five works produced in each of the 10 hospitals, as well as during confinement (national scale) will circulate in the town halls of the hospitals concerned.

At the HCL Pierre Garraud geriatric hospital, the first workshop is launched on April 5 with Gabrielle Thierry; the other three will be led by artists from Lyon: Ludivine Alligier, Diane de Ferran and Nathalie Leverger. The works produced by the residents will be visible on May 12 at 2:30 p.m. An exhibition booklet will also be made available.
