At the victory in Duisburg, the loan player was missing in the squad. What happens when his parent club from Nuremberg plays against the Kickers for a third division place?
When Kickers coach Michael Schiele was asked about the absence of midfielder Simon Rhein in the 2-1 away win of the Würzburg third division footballers over KFC Uerdingen, the head coach reacted strikingly narrow-lipped. He didn’t want to reveal why Rhein was missing. However, Schiele may have to do without the loaner, who played 27 games for the red pants this season, because of a possible Franconian relegation between the Würzburger Kickers and Rheins Stammverein, 1. FC Nürnberg.
