After strangers apparently tried to steal a boat on Monday evening, officials at the Rheinau police station are now investigating.
At around 7.15 p.m., witnesses saw the occupants of a station wagon with French registration tampering with the green watercraft.
After the theft in the forest area in the area of the so-called Dreimarkerweg at the “Groschenwasser” could be prevented, the officials are looking for the owner of the boat.
