In Neuss, eleven training providers therefore founded the Further Education Association (WFV) Mittlerer Niederrhein in 2020. They are committed to the constant promotion and expansion of further education and training opportunities as a response to the rapidly changing requirements of the job market. With a “Further Education and Job Fair in the Middle Lower Rhine” on August 17th, they are aimed at everyone who wants to continue their education, change their professional orientation or plan their career.
The focus is placed on commercial-technical as well as nursing and health professions. Educational institutions and employers from the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, Mönchengladbach, Krefeld and the Viersen district will present themselves at the event. The employment agency and its job centers are on board as a partner. The “Middle Lower Rhine Further Education Fair” takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the offices of MEK GmbH, Kleinwefersstraße 1, in Krefeld. The Employment Agency points this out. Visiting the further education fair is free of charge, registration is not required. Together with the employment agencies and job centers from Mönchengladbach, Krefeld, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss and the Viersen district, the WFV had already successfully organized the first “Middle Lower Rhine Further Education Fair” in May.

The training fair takes place during the theme days “Qualification in the transformation”. For two weeks, from August 15 up to and including September 2, a large number of events for employees and employers will be held throughout NRW. The employment agencies and the job centers in NRW, together with their network partners, want to set an impetus to meet the challenges of transformation on the labor market through targeted qualifications.
