Rhein Fire has signed a new player. Nils Schauerte joins head coach Jim Tomsula’s team from the AFC Paderborn Dolphins. Born in Mescheder, he was introduced as “Punter/Kicker”. “He approached us,” says Tight Ends Coach and Director of Player Personnel Timur Beckmann, “Nils is now working in Düsseldorf and the two-hour drive to Paderborn for training and games was just too long for him.”
