Oleksiy Reznikov noted that Ukraine will survive this crisis and come out of it stronger.
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that today there are no grounds for imposing martial law in Ukraine amid the threat of a Russian invasion. He said this on air Freedom of speech.
“I am sure that there are no grounds for introducing such a special regime today. Only in order to normalize the media space, in no case can this be done. We live in a democratic country and are learning to pass such tests,” Reznikov stressed.
He noted that Ukraine will survive this crisis and come out of it stronger.
“But martial law is introduced in the event of an invasion, I hope that such an invasion will not happen,” the defense minister said.
Recall, Earlier it was reported that the head of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that the authorities of Ukraine at the moment do not see the prerequisites for a large-scale Russian invasion to Ukraine.
At the same time, the personnel of the National Police from February 14 to 19 switches to enhanced mode because of the threat from Russia.
