The meeting of the director and stage diva Rēzija Kalniņa and the virtuoso guitarist Kaspars Zemītis in the music and poetry program “A Moment After Dinner” will take place on June 15 in the “Views of the Daugava” hall of the ATTA Center on Krasta Street.
The program will feature poetry by Rudīte Losāne, Dace Zālīte-Micāne and Māra Zālīte, original compositions and songs by Kaspars Zemītis, as well as compositions for guitar by Latvian and foreign composers.
The two will share poems and compositions that have spoken to their hearts this evening.
“Everyone who reads poetry has had moments when it seems that the poet has looked into the corners of our hearts and written down their hidden longings and feelings,” said Rēzija Kalniņa. Kaspars Zemītis, on the other hand, says: “This is a way for a man to get to know a woman’s soul more – through the poetry she reads.” The “Moment After Dinner” program is intended as a dialogue with the audience in the format of music and poetry, and differently each time.
