Reza Rahadian has decided to convert to Islam, so that he is different from his Christian mother. Even so, the actor who was born 34 years ago still has a family tradition during Ramadan.
Ahead of Ramadan, Muslims usually visit their family graves or nyekar. Reza admitted, his family did not have such a tradition, Bunda. He also revealed the reason.
“There is no (nyekar tradition). My family is mostly Christian. Alhamdulillah my mother is still alive, my extended family is still there,” said Reza Rahadian, quoted from detikcom.
Yes, Reza decided to convert when he was 20 years old, while his mother and younger brother were Christian. Despite their different religions, their families respect each other’s beliefs and worship.
