jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Forensic psychologist Reza Indragiri analyzed the second open letter written by Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte.
As for the second open letter, Napoleon Bonaparte admitted that he had given up because he was bound by the uniform.
“Actually, all this time I have given up in silence because I have been trapped in my uniform to keep my mouth shut and accept whatever fate they decide,” wrote the former Head of the Indonesian Police Hubinter Division in his letter, Wednesday (6/10).
Regarding this, Reza said that in general, suspects in criminal cases are always looking for ways to escape the snares of the law.
If the sentence is still imposed on the suspect, then he will try to make the sentence lighter.
“One way to demonstrate this tendency is to use the irony of victimization, that ‘I am not the perpetrator, ‘I am the victim’ or ‘I am not the only perpetrator’ or ‘I did it under pressure’ and the like,” he said. Reza Indragiri to JPNN.com.
Therefore, the self-defense that Napoleon presented in the letter was commonplace.
“Self-defense from every suspected criminal, whoever, the person, is a normal phenomenon. It’s natural,” said Reza.
