In recent weeks we have already reported that the AEW contracts of Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo will end in the coming months. In an update, Bryan Alvarez revealed in Wrestling Observer Rado that AEW now assumes that the Lucha Brothers will not renew their contracts and will leave the company for WWE. Originally, a match for the AEW World Trios Championship with the Death Triangle (PAC & The Lucha Brothers: Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo) was planned for the “AEW All In” PPV at Wembley Stadium, but this plan has since been scrapped due to the impending departure of the two Mexicans. Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract ends in August or September, and all that is known about Rey Fenix’s contract is that it expires this year.
