Rewe and Edeka get competition: Czech giant now wants to start in Germany

The full range should include groceries and drugstore products. In its job vacancies, the company states that it wants to forego “cheap meat” entirely and will focus on “regional and high-quality” manufacturers. The products are delivered via so-called Knuspr couriers, who put the orders together in the storage rooms and then deliver them within three hours of entering the order.

The concept and range are therefore very reminiscent of the Dutch supplier Picnic, which supplies the cities of Düsseldorf, Mönchengladbach, Krefeld, Essen, Duisburg and Gelsenkirchen in Germany.

Customers order their orders online. The goods are then put together in a hub and brought to the delivery point. From there, our own delivery staff bring the order to the customers.
